 Love the way Intermix does their trend reports! The editors do such a great job picking just the right examples of stylish clothing that we all need for a current season. Like take these Amo jeans, they are not too wide and not too short, just straight enough to emanate an air of Parisian coolness that none of us should ever be without. Or take these Flamingo platform sneakers, they'll elevate you without being too sporty and I'm just dying for this camel color loose sweater and Ronny Kobo dress which will go with everything this coming fall. What can I say these types of clothes do inspire me so!  

Final purchases for the end of the summer #theory and #equipment

I know that my thoughts should be on the Fall wardrobe but some purchases I just can't get away from. The weather is so great now, warm and sunny and at this time I always find myself wanting more summer clothes but most of it is already gone by now. Here are some great finds and at these prices, who can resist and why should you? (You could also stock up on these items for vacation time;) Both blouses look so great tied up front with this crisp white skirt, which looks great with heels or without. Culottes anyone? #

Contrary to what you may think, culottes actually are not that hard to wear. I used think that if you don't wear heels with them, they'll make you look kind of dowdy at best but this new breed looks good even with sneakers! My favorites are from  McGuire and 7 for All Mankind but my inspirations come from Stella McCartney which is worn with platform wedge sneakers and Elizabeth and James which is worn with plain white low top sneakers. Comfort and "coolness" make a great pair!

Everything denim - looks just about right?!

Head to toe denim used to be such a no-no in fashion, so why does it look so good right now? Am I so used to seeing it on different celebrities? or is it the way that it is redone this season? Well, who cares, I just want a little bit of it all this coming fall. I even like the way the Kardashians put it together (yea, I'm twitching at the thought of it but they are looking better and more tasteful these past few years)

The "new" bohemian???

I was wondering why is it that every year the designers can't seem to get away from the bohemian theme? Are we all so tired of our real life that we need a getaway theme every time? We need dreamy clothes that you can't really wear in the city unless you're 12 years old or a girlfriend of a rock star?! I was thinking how far I personally can take this trend and I admit certain elements of it I do like. Like this haircut below, it's fresh looking and with a nice coat and the "new" flared jeans it will look kind of nice and trendy for fall. What do you think?
